Philosophy
Amax Capital was founded to provide top quality specialised strategic finance advisory to clients and deals irrespective of size or location. We believe that midsize deals that are complex, cross-border, or involve sophisticated asset classes need the same, indeed even more, advisory and counsel as large-cap deals and clients. And that ideal outcomes need a thoughtful, active partner who is not limited by constraints of product or geography.

Businesses operate in a global context regardless of where they are headquartered. We draw on international experience and local market knowledge to craft solutions that respect both. Necessarily then, our advice and processes are bespoke - we rarely run standard deal processes.
We hold no balance sheet to push and are not a single-product seller. That allows us to consider the full spectrum of solutions - from juniormost equity to seniormost debt; from full control purchase and sale to minority equity solutions; from JVs to licensing or alliances.
Our work begins with laying out and then devising the optimal answer to the client's objective. The transaction process, disciplined, discreet, and run by people who have done it many times, follows the objective.
We do advisory the old-fashioned way - we believe our chief value is in the senior attention and experience of our partners. All engagements are led and executed by the partners, not a junior team.
